"The Sportstime training program stresses real skill development structured with discipline and continuous, positive motivation. My players are encouraged to walk the walk and look the part whether on or off the field. As a six year San Ramon Little League manager and all-star coach, I have seen first-hand the benefits Sportstime has given us. Our pitchers and catchers now have the knowledge and skills to go out and perform in real-game situations." - Jeff Goldman, San Ramon Little League Manager & All-Star Coach

Parents

"I just wanted you to know what a positive impact your camp and the coaches had on Brett this year. He's been to several of your camps and he always gains more skill and confidence. Attending your camps has been absolutely the best inspiration for Brett to keep playing baseball." - Linda Esser, Pleasanton Little League parent

"My wife came to watch the game at the end of each day. She made several positive comments about your staff and how they showed genuine concern and caring for the children. She also noticed an improvement in Garrett's ability and attitude. It really did wonders for his confidence to be playing with the 10, 11 & 12 year olds since he just turned 10. Thanks for a great experience and we will be sending him to the spring break camp!" - Jim Lenhardt, Livermore Little League Parent

"Nick is so excited about his first home run and said he owes it all to you. He did exactly what you told him to. He also hit a stand-up double on his first pitch of the game! Call me, we need to set up a time for his next lesson!" - Tamara Gonsalves, Dublin Little League Parent

"Dear Steve, Nothing in this world should come between a boy and his dream. Thank you for being a friend to Shane and for teaching him honestly. In 30 games he hit 13 home runs and struck out too many batters to count. Your insistence that he develop and use his fast ball rather than rely on curve balls, as other coaches want him to do, has reassured me that we are on the right track. Mostly I want to say thanks to you for being such a good coach and friend to Shane. We both respect you very much. (That little fellow you brought to Shane's last lesson has a lot of promise - bring him again.)"- Bob (Unsolicited Letter)

"Dear Steve, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the coaching that coach Matt performed this spring break week with my son Evan and his friend Matt. Although I am one of those "Damn foreigners" you read about, I am a huge baseball fan. Notwithstanding half a dozen years of following baseball at a professional level and watching Evan through four seasons of pee-wee and "little league" I have never seen basic hitting and throwing broken down into its basic components - until this week. I find it fascinating that neither Evan nor Matt had been instructed in the "correct" hitting swing. I must have heard little league coaches cry "Quick hands", "See the ball onto the bat" and others a thousand times - but the kids have no idea what they mean or how to implement them.

Coach Matt broke down the swing into easily understood components, emphasizing the critical points such as getting the hands close to the body, getting the hands quickly toward the ball etc with anecdotes like "Chop wood". Evan's basic hitting problem of swinging long and wide was clearly apparent. Coach Darren imparted some easy drills that hopefully the boys will carry over with in the future to keep their basics on track.

Again, it was a very nice experience this week and I would like to thank you and your staff for it. I will be in contact with you soon regarding the summer camp program." - Ian, Parent
